not sure what you are not seeing in the association...what I see is man, shape of hat, eyes. the association is simply some element of a photo;theme, a view, a color or opposite. etc. that can be seen in the next. It is for me a creative way of relating/linking one photo to the next. Not sure how to explain it cause there are many many ways to see the next link.

The green hat is the association. I get it.

But, did you notice we now have birds? Rutt tried to break it up. Yeah, the expression on that lady sure matches Harry's bird expression, but by the time I uploaded my bird shot to my smugmug account, I had to post it anyway. Sorry Rutt. My bird has kind of the same expression anyhow.
