I currently use the text in my bio page for an "About" page in my multi-homepage layout. (richW at the Help Desk directed me to his "galleries and find pages revisited" customization to set up my multi-homepage layout when I was setting up my site.) I'd like to keep my "About" page.

I saw in post 647 of this thread that there might be a way to keep my "About" page and still activate your slideshow there. I understand the div tag part for my bio text, but wasn't certain about the CSS changes to my site.

Can you please look at my site Douglas Good Photography and help me out?

I would suggest not using your biobox for your "about" and use a separate
gallery description for that. Then use the biobox for the show.

The info in your current biobox can easiely be converted to a separate box.
See this page for and example. Create a new thread and we can help you get ther.

Hi Allen,
Your sample page is easy enough to follow, of course.
And I figured that would be the guidance I got. Thanks.

Here's what I think I am going to do.....
1. Move my "About" stuff to my "Guest Book" page.
2. Use Easy Customizer to remove "About" from my navbar.
3. Leave bio checked on my homepage in preparation for the HTML5 slideshow.

Do I need to add or remove anything else before implementing the HTML5 slideshow?

Looks like you're ready to me. The only prep you need to be able to follow the tutorial for installation on the homepage is the bio visible on the homepage (preferably by itself) and nothing else in the bio area. After that, following the tutorial instructions should get you going.

Thanks, John.
I deleted the bio text.
Do I need to delete the bio photo?

If the bio photo shows, it's one line of CSS to hide it. It's used for some other things on the site, so you may not want to actually delete it.

#bioBox .boxBottom .photo {display: none;}

Already answered you in your other post. Please try to only post in one place about a particular issue.
