Saving a movie clip to Smug Mug
I understand now that Smug Mug has the capability for storing and presenting videos. I've made a movie of my best sunset shots (again in iMovie) and want to upload it to smug mug.

I suppose that I need to create a gallery for the video (similar to what I do for my still pictures) - right ?

Can someone give me some guidance on what format(s) I can upload to my smug mug web page.

IF someone has or is using iMovie to creating and saving movies for upload to smug mug, perhaps you can give me some instructions on how I would go about "saving" the movie clip in iMovie.

Thanks

We've had it for years and years Output it to an mpg or mp4 file from iMovie and it'll upload just fine to any gallery on your site - you don't need to make a special gallery unless you wish to.

Thanks Andy ... now for a follow-up to anyone who uses iMovie. How would I go about saving / outputting a file in iMovie. I am a little lost since I normally don't make iMovies (perhaps once a year when I go on an extended vacation and make a DVD of the trip). MY last DVD was almost a year ago. I have forgotten the steps in saving the video clip. Not sure if its through the iMovie browser or exporting the movie somewhere.

Anyone that can help with the iMovie part of this, would be appreciated.

If I output the iMove files as an .mov, would that be an acceptable format for uploading to Smug Mug?
