Corning Museum of Glass
Well, I was traveling last weekend to a motorhome rally and we went to the Corning Museum of Glass. It was very interesting.
Oh as a side note, these were all taken with auto ISO and 12,800 as the max. There are a number of the shots at 12,800 and 6400 ISO. The D4 is amazing in low light and very clean. Here are a few shots: ![]() Statue when you walked into the exhibit. ![]() THis head is made of glass and the colors are glass as well ![]() Catch a falling knife ![]() Glass Canoes. ![]() Glass Flowers ![]() Same Glass Canoes, but see how the D4 handled the backlighting. ![]() Glass Fruit ![]() Statue of a Glass Blower hanging up ![]() Real Glass Blower

Beautiful snaps. The high ISO is impressive. You've got a good eye.

Nice! Been there many times. Very tough to photograph, as the light changes constantly as you move around the museum: from bright sunlight to near black.
Also hope you checked out the Remington Museum nearby. |
