Lovely series Bas! Jumpers are coming out this days, i've seen 2 or 3 but unfortunately can't get a decent shot.

Lovely captures Bas,
Interestingly the second species is the first time I've seen recognisably enlarged palps in a male jumper. Males of the first species (Salticus scenicus) seem to have enlongated chelicera and fangs and not enlarged palps.

thanks , Ron & Brian

i never realized it were different species
in that case , i realize i've seen other species as well
how many species are there actually ? ( i mean here -western Europe - not worldwide )

Supposed to be 36 species in the UK and guess similar in Holland but I've only seen 4 different ones

Very good , like composition #2 . Lighting looks a bit bright in the first 2 frames ?
Think I have seen 5 species this year , only shot 2 though! Fail!
