Really lovely, Awais. I'd try a square crop, to get rid of what's basically distraction on the right.

As always, your work elicits a strong response from me. Wonderful portrait.

+1 for a square crop.

I agree, I also support BDs square crop idea. Good to see you back.

There is a famous Indian, I believe, photo that looks similar to this one. Nice shot.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, you capture the emotions through the eyes in your subjects. This is no exception. Stellar.

The square crop is much nicer, yet maybe just an 1/8" more from the right. There's a little cream colored vertical streak from the bench still peeking out.

Yes! Wonderful. And in reference to someone else's comment - there is a resemblance to Steve McCurry's "Afghan Women"

Yep, that is the shot I was thinking about. Sorry, I was so far off.

You were really close, Phil, in terms of the image.

Perhaps in the context, but the eyes... ahh ... not the eyes.

This shot has its own charm and innocence

Accused Shill.
It is a great shot, with a lot of character. And of course, my first thought was of Afghan Woman. But then my second thought was, no, not like Afghan Woman at all ...

Awais,

The crop might help depending on what you or an editor might want. Ignore it for the time being. Just shoot and think about how this might add to whatever story you might be working on.
