Hi Andy,

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but it's worth a shot.

I just now realized that my clients cannot order their own photo cards. Is this true? Is there anyway they can?? Or can only I, the Pro User??

Will this ever be an option for the future? It would be a great one!!!!!!

Thanks!

Hi Heidi

I actually had the same question. I thought it would be cool to set my prices a tiny bit higher than normal, then be able to offer my clients a "discount code". This would be a great thing!

I also would love to see packages.

I am also extremely bummed that my clients cannot order their own photo cards!

Heidi, who do you order prints like packages and such now through? I am trying to decide if I should stick with smugmug or use a different lab..... such a tough decision.

Would love to hear comments!

I just did some further research, and it looks like my client CAN order photo cards ONLY if the image size is large enough. When I exported the image I made sure it was the amount of pixels suggested, but it is still saying that it is not large enough.

What can I do to make sure my image is large enough to be made into a photo card??

Thank you

Packages
Hello,

I was wondering if we can do packages and customize them. If so, is there a tutorial on it.

Thanks

Backprinting YEAR only

When using the template variables in the backprinting options, do we have the option to print the year only, not the whole date and time?

I would like to be able to use the year the photo was taken only.

Example with the template:
(c) SMUGDATETAKEN = (c) 04/17/2010 12:34:56 {current}
(c) SMUGYEARTAKEN = (c) 2010 {proposed}

The Smug Mug ordering process is too complicated for my uninitiated computer and internet photography customers. I will lose customers because they are intimidated by the ordering process and the fact that Smug Mug Customer Service will not accept telephone calls from my customer who needs to have their hand held and be talked through the ordering process.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry that you've had this issue! We're doing millions of orders, so many are getting through. Exactly what are your customers telling you? We'd love to know more. Can you please write our Support Heroes ATTN: Andy and give some more details? Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, Al. You can also just enter a number if you like...

I think it would be awesome to have a tool that tells you if your are within the average range for print prices within our area. This way we know if $10.79 for an 8×10 is about the average for all users in that geographical location or if its way over or way under the average.

what you think?
