Positive Feedback for Grinners
This is just a short comment to reaffirm the integrity of people we deal with here in the Grin. I agreed to buy a CF card from Andy here a couple of weeks ago. Paypal was sent and Andy said he would send the card, forthwith. A couple of days later, after I had left for a 10 day trip to Mexico, my wife got a mysterious envelope, addressed to her business address, that was noted as torn and damaged by our local post office.

When I got back, I didn't find the CF card, and didn't connect the torn envelope, so I PM'ed Andy to check shipment status. When he learned that we hadn't received the card, he immediately refunded the paypal. A couple of days later, it dawned on me that the torn envelope was in fact, Andy's shipment.

Several PM exchanges later, I think the message from all this is that we can be confident that we will be fairly treated and that the people of this group will do the right thing. Thanks again, Andy.

Here is the evidence: (If I had known I was going to post this for all to see, I might have done a better job with the photo.)

Seller: Andy
Items Purchased: zeiss distagon 18 and 21mm lenses

I've learned the joy of visiting Andy's DGrin Camera Exchange & Food Emporium. I wasn't there for the food....good thing too, most of it was gone...but out back he(as you all know) has a warehouse full of barely used camera stuff.
He had this Distagon lens I thought was cool and told me he had another stashed at Michaels place in the Netherlands. He offered to get both of them for me, for a good price and send them out here to the West Coast. Well, about the only thing he could have done better(different) would be to have delivered them himself, which I bet if I'd have asked, he'd have considered.
You all know he's good to do business with, now I do also. He got the lenses delivered on my birthday....hmmmmmm He even sent along some of those packing peanuts for my dog to play with
I'd do business w/ him any ol time....and I hear he's gonna have a 200/1.8 for sale in a week or so. Stay posted...good guy to watch to (learn photography)get great bargains from.

Thanks Andy! Let's do it again soon!

d'ya think maybe it was the egret stamps that had something to do with this?

What is this world coming too? To tamper with an envelope that has egret stamps on it. That is the lowest.
