I wanted to add that David still continues to offer rapid response assistance in small changes as a follow up without charge. I think that this is an essential aspect of customization and I wanted folks to know when they are deciding who to hire.

It was soon clear that he was able to do clever CSS codes and quickly make each of the changes that I wanted. I’m certain that David saved me weeks of effort. He was easily available by email and very responsive. I was pleased that he added a number of changes that I had not thought of. Jerry is the MAN

Jerry just finnished some customization for my site and I can't say enough about his work.

I expected a good outcome & I got one; I expected a reasonable price & he delivered; I expected a reasonable timeline to get the work done & he more than met my expectations.

What I think Jerry offers that most impressed me is the ability to talk to you & help you clarrify in your own mind what you want the site to look like. I never felt like he was pushing me to a place I didn't want to go but he did gently open my eyes to some possibilities I had not thought of.

Last but certainly not least, he left me with a site that I can tweak & maintain on my own even with my limited understanding & ability.

Thanks Jerry. You get my unqualified recommendation!

Another vote for Jerry Roek

Jerry Roek (see http://jrphotos.smugmug.com/gallery/2959631_8M5XR ) did my www.UnderwaterReflections.com site, and I was amazed at how easy he was to work with, and what a nice, professional looking result I got. I get lots of positive comments on it from other underwater photographers - many of them pros.

I was so happy with the job he did that I've got him working on my wife's new site for her dog training business -- you wouldn't think Smugmug would be the ideal basis for that type of website (since it's not based on photography!), but Jerry is making it look great!

One of Jerry's talents is for listening to what you want and making suggestions, but then letting you fine-tune what he's doing as the project progresses. He doesn't get offended if you ignore some of his suggestions or prefer it done differently! And his charges are more than reasonable (will vary based on the project, but he'll give you an estimate range in advance once he understands what you want).

It's not often that I come across someone I can wholeheartedly recommend to others, but that is certainly the case with Jerry!

I highly recommend David Wolf. He had a very fast response time to by first inquiry. He was always available for help. I also had several questions that now seem a little silly but he always responded and was very nice about it. He was great to work with and I love what he has done to my site... Talking Webpage customization

Just wanted to add that Jerry Roek http://www.jrphotos.smugmug.com/gallery/1448761 customized my website in Oct '07 you can check it out here www.KateHunterPhotography.smugmug.com I LOVE it! My clients love it Jerry was great to work with and made the process very easy. Jerry quoted me a price that was very reasonable and a time frame that was QUICK and he delivered on both. I just emailed Jerry yesterday at 4pm with a question about making two small changes to my site...Jerry emailed me back at 5:40pm not only to say it was done but that there was NO charge! Talk about GREAT customer service. Jerry Roek Rocks!
Thanks Jerry

Lickout Jerry's Customization

When I started with SM I was blown away by what it would take to customize my website.. Luckily soon after when I was about to leave SM because of frustration, Jerry came along... because of Jerry I LOVE SM!

Jerry has made my life SO EASY! He responds quickly to my emails and phone calls.. He make what ever changes I need when I need them. He encourages me to learn more so I can be more independent with the site. He fixes my mistakes..

Jerry's work is flawless! Don't look at my site yet,.. I still owe Jerry some new graphics.. so mine is incomplete again (my doing not Jerry's).

Jerry has been working my site for a couple of years and during that time I have called Jerrry from the middle of a shoot a hrose show and he has updated my site to fit my need by the end of the day! THATS SERVICE!

I can't say enough about Jerry's commitment to his customers!

Wow! I am very impressed with ...

... Dr David (aka: David Wolf).

He turned my garbled ramblings of what I thought I wanted ... into exactly what I wanted!!

Having never hired anyone to do this stuff before, I was pretty worried about trust (I'd have to give him my passwords), honesty (I'd have to trust he would not do it in 2 seconds and charge me the earth) and ability (how do I know he can even do this stuff?!).

I need not have worried. David did a fantastic job .. and gave me some great advice too. If you need help with your SmugMug .. I highly recommend Dr David.

Thank you so much Dr David!!!

Dr.Dave's the Man. . .

Thanks Dr.Dave!

I used Dr.Dave to customize my smugmug site. I'm a wildlife and landscape photographer and Dr.Dave helped to give me a more personalized look on the www. He's quick, honest, and fair. I'll continue to keep my business with Dr. Dave, and you should too! I wanted him to keep it simple and easy to navigate, and he did just that. Take a look at www.tonybynum.com

Dave also helped me set up a new email system and add some things to my www presence that in the long run will help me better opperate my business.

Thanks Dave!

Jerry Roek's Customization

I recently worked with Jerry Roek to customize my site (www.sherryott.smugmug.com). I was very satisfied with what he accomplished for me. However I was most impressed with his ability to meet the timeline that I needed with the functionality that I desired. I provided him a 'deadline' for when the work needed to be complete, and he did a fabulous job of getting it all done! He was professional to work with, he was quick to respond to my questions and we worked together to put together a great design! You can spend hours yourself, or get it done quickly by having an expert do the customization for you...it all depends on your goals. For me, hiring Jerry to do the customization was the way to go!
Thanks Jerry!

Always Updating!

I had Jerry do my site a year or so ago. Throughout this time we have worked to keep adding new functions and cool stuff to my site.

I recently had him add a site inside my site for my son's Taekwondo studio.

Any special feature I wanted I was able to get reasonably and quickly.

Jerry is the best! I am so happy I found him to do my site.

He even put a slideshow on my blog. :)

Sorry to hear about that!

I know, speaking for myself only here, I do get a LOT of email everyday. And, if you don't use the form here: http://www.WolfSnap.com/smugization there is always a possibility that your email can get lost or junked. Unfortunately, I get *hundreds* of spam email a day; so, I can't always find the one good email in the stack of junk. Sorry.

By using the form, the email's get into the right folder, and trigger the right alerts--it even automatically sends back a bit of an FAQ to you within seconds.

Fill out the form above, and I'll get back to you with specifics ASAP. Promise!

David

Hi - I am sorry to hear about that as well....
I make it my best attempt to reply to e-mails on the same day.
I have notice the past couple of times in which I have received an e-mail via dgrin and have attempted to reply to the e-mail without any luck.

Therefore, the best methods of contacting me is through an actual private message to private message via dgrin or review my customization page
(http://www.jrphotosandwebdesign.com/customization) and e-mail me from there. I will do my very best effort to reply to within the same day.

Thanks :) jerryr

The easiest way to contact me, and ensure I get your message is by going to my site and using my form. Sending a PM on here or sending me an email via dgrin never works as well as my form.

Reason: My form gets emailed to me AND I have a log of it on the website as well. So, if the email ever does get lost, I can always find the original form information. It's like insurance for your email :)

A few months ago Dave helped with my smug mug site (www.tonybynum.com) and did a great job. The other day, I was away shooting in canada and did not have access to my computer, i did get to a friends computer and emaild him that I could not access my account. He turned around with a reply and all my contact information in about 5 minutes - now that's customer support! Great guy! A+!!!!!!!
