Bncry Custom Website
I just payed big bucks for a custom website, but want it on smugmug! Any one know how I can do this EASILY
Here's my story: Joined smug pro so I could have a website, with gallery, info, and an area for my customers to see and order their prints. I was so excited when I found smugmug, the perfect solution to my photography business right??? So then I spent a month trying to figure out how to customize my website (by the way kinda computer illiterate in this area) so completely frustrated and STRESSED to the max I cancelled with smugmug and found a website designer to do a website for me. That didn't go so great either, weeks after I was promised it would be done, it is finally done - well sort off. I have to do all my my galleries still (oh, come to find out by myself). So here I am with this website I paid a lot of money for, with no gallery and she would only do it through merchant moms. Well at least now I have a site that I can send client's to, for my info and so forth, but I HATE Merchant moms. So here I am back at smugmug and happy to be here, but want to know how to move my website to smugmug completely (want to completely nilche merchant moms) I can't get good image quality on my website and that's kind of a must in the photography biz, wouldn't you agree??? And its meant more for a regular kind of business-not so great for a photography business. So anyway PLEASE HELP! I am so over this and just want my website up and running and COMPLETE once and for all!!!
Your welcome to take at look at my website and tell me what you think and give any advice (I would be FOREVER grateful!) It is at www.pietraportraitphotography.com

I also moved your post to the customizing forum.

Hi :)

First thing we will need is a link to your SmugMug site :)

After looking at your other site, you can get very close to the same look and feel on SmugMug. We have a tutorial that will actually walk you through putting up a banner image, navbar, and homepage slideshow.

Be sure to also check out our Customizing FAQ with tips on how to change the background color of your site, etc.

http://www.smugmug.com/help/customize-faq

If you need help along the way, just holler back here. There are lots of volunteers on the forum that are happy to help get you going :)

Thanks for getting back to me, I really appreciate it. I will try the tutorials again and see how it goes this time.
My smugmug site is www.lastingimpressionsbyap.com (will be changing this to my new name soon as I get everything figured out)
