Embedding pics in emails

I'm a new Mugger, and have just finished setting up my gallery structure. It's pretty basic, but once I finish uploading my galleries I'll fine tune it.

I'm excited over the possibilities for improving my revenue stream through e-commerce, and have received three "Who loves ya baby?" emails in the first week of business :clap

Long intro, but my question has to do with email. I tried the Share - Send an email utility, and it embedded an image in my gmail email rather than attaching it. That's cool, but I'd like to include several pictures, with text intersperced, without the headers and footers. Is there a way to do this through the Send an email utility? If not, can you tell me how I can go about embedding pics in a gmail email that I compose myself? I've never figured out how to do that :scratch .

EDIT: Sorry to have bothered you. I figured it out on my own. Just view an image, right click on it, select "copy" from the drop down menu, and then paste it into a gmail. DUH. I'll leave this up so other gmail-challenged Muggers can use the solution.
Warm regards,
Frank

    Hi Frank,

    Welcome to Dgrin!

That's right - you got it. Alternatively, you could use the 'get a link' button instead of sending out a share email. Get a link allows you to pick from the different display copies - so you're not just limited to the size that you're looking at.

Small correction: the share email feature actually does not attach the photo to the email. It's added with the html image tag and is loaded from our server, when the email is read.

Thanks, Sebastian! As long as I have you on the line, so to speak, let me try another question.

Is there a copy command that I'm missing? When I want to include an image in two galleries, I've been making a copy, and then moving the copy. Seems like double work. yelrotflmao.gif

That's what there is. Make 2nd copy, then move to a new gallery.

It has long been requested to have "Copy to New Gallery" directly, but it hasn't happened yet. There are also rumors of someone working on "virtual galleries" where you can reference a single image from multiple galleries, but no indicate of when we'd see that.
