OK, give it to me straight. How did I do in mid-day conditions?

I really like #1. Very imaginitive comp without being "cute."

I like #1 a lot too. I do honestly think that some of the processing needs a little more work... some of the tones seem a little dark/warm to me, but I am on a mediocre work monitor, so take that with a grain of salt. #2 would be perfect he wasn't talking in it... there's something about it and their comfort together that I really like.

I understand that you're going for some special processing in #4 and #5, but I think that #4 is a touch too washed out for my taste and the glow-y-ness of #5 is just a little too much for me. It looks like a fantastically beautiful background and their mood is great... they look SO happy together there. I think the processing distracts from that a little bit. I would also offset them just a touch more to the right side of the frame.

That said, this is a really great first attempt and I think that you've definitely got a ton of potential. It seems that they are comfortable with you and that is so, so important. Nicely done! clap.gif

I too really like the first one. #4 for me is washed out at least in the background. I keep getting caught on the watch. It is big and black and to me is distracting. I will usually try and limit jewelry on arms. Otherwise they are a great set. Well done!!

Thank you all. Kinkajou, you are right. I was trying some things in the processing and over did a few in showing options. I took your comment on #5 to heart in particular and tried this-
