Just a couple of quick edits from a recent wedding... I'm hoping to finish the rest of the shots over the next few days. It was a fantastic backyard wedding... the ceremony was held under a live oak. She wore cowboy boots. He walked down the aisle with the most well-behaved dog I've ever seen. It was pretty great. :)

As usual, please feel free to give out the C&C (especially on WB and processing - they look ok at home and in test prints but look really pink on my monitor here at work... hmm).

Skin tones look fine but I would drop the exposure by 1/3 stop on all of them..get thema touch more saturated.

Agreed - this will really help the overall look. Remember, as things get darker, they get more saturated.

In #1 I would crop in tighter so the brides hair is on the left edge of the frame. Get rid of the guy in the background. Maybe go ahead and get rid of brides left thumb too (missing rest of hand).

#2 Chimney from house is close to head... be carful.

#3 has a too much focus on the back of the grooms head to me. His dark hair commands your eye in the frame. The picture is about the interaction between the couple... make that clear with the composition. Maybe crop just above his ear to help.

    Thanks for sharing!

The step-stool in 2 seems a bit odd, but other than that, nice.

Thanks for the freedback, guys. These are great points. I am seriously struggling with my PP... I like the light feeling of the images, but I sacrifice some color for that :-/ I've sent a test batch to colorati to see whether outsourcing the PP is a good strategy for me.

Excellent points on the composition! I'll definitely incorporate those before final delivery. :)

Oh yeah, with regard to the stepladder - if it wasn't a backyard wedding with the bride in cowboy boots, a game of cornhole, and an inflatable jumpy-house brought in for the kids, I'd agree :)
