So I've read dgrin for years, but finally felt I would share some of my projects in the hopes that it helps spark an idea for anyone curious about videos or editing.
I used to swear I was only going to shoot stills when I had my 40D, but last year I got a new 7D and got hooked on video. These are some movies I made of my new 2011 Subaru STi Sedan and edited on Sony Vegas 9 Pro.
The joke on Youtube/Automotive Forums is that I do everything overly epic, even if it's something simple (like washing a car was the first one I really went over the top on haha) so it's intent is to be sarcastically funny.
The first STi video was just a walkaround of my new car:
