what was the longest focal length you've been able to use handheld for video?

I've used 17-40mm successfully.. and 50mm.., but footage from 135L is not usable.. too shaky. I am thinking of getting 100mm, do you think that'd be short enough?

I've been pretty happy with the 70-200is (I assume you are referring to the 5dII) but I would look for a stabilization system before I spent cash on an IS lens.
