Smugmug site hierarchy not syncing with Lightroom!

I've upgraded to the Portfolio account and am in the middle of redesigning my smugmug site. The site is not updating correctly in Lightroom. I've gone into the plug in manager and hit "Sync" with every combination of boxes checked and nothing. The hierarchy of folders and galleries will not update in lightroom.

When I hit "Sync now" in "settings" the hierarchy in Lightroom is not updating and subsequently is wrong. I won't be able to publish to the folders in this state. How can I fix the sync to the 2 states are rectified?
