smugmug 14 day trial --- now without credit cards

I was quickly scanning one of the bargains sites this morning, and to my surprise, I saw smugmug listed there.

It seems that the 14 day trial does not require the credit card anymore.

When did this happen? Did I miss it the announcement?

    As of 2 days ago, and no, you didn't miss the announcement but it should be in our release notes blog soon enough :)

    Hope you'll also accept some other form of payment apart from credit card sometime in the future for the sake of people that don't have one and don't intend to get one.
