It's been cold lately; 44F/7C at night. By the time I'm home, it's already dark and cold (55F/13C). Decided to stay inside and play around with off-camera lighting. The kids weren't willing so had to find a subject that couldn't object. Taken with EF 100mm f/2.8 macro lens; 580EX on the left, 430EX on the right; both bounced and diffused with DIY better bounce card.

Had to exercise a great deal of self-control during the shoot. Afterwards, well, that's another story... but for sure these are no miniature portion eye candies.

These chocolates are the creation of Laderach chocolatier from Switzerland, and they taste as heavenly as they look. The pictures turned out better than I expected given this is my first time shooting chocolate.

Still more than half left and that's with help from the kids. It's best to have just one or two at a time and savor the flavor. Thanks for asking.

you're much better than I would ever be (hi, my name is Colleen and I'm a chocoholic mwink.gif ) and you're images have me about to get up and raid my pantry since you just reminded me I've got a bar of good chocolate sitting there.

    fun shots.
