well it was -3.3 dgrees this morning, no live bugs to be seen.
shot these with 2 sheets of 216 diffusion sheet.too much light loss for bugs but worked good for these.

    That would be so pretty to see..... -3.3 you say hmmmm and I think it's cold when its in the high 70's rolleyes1.gif

    Why do the cyrstals grow like hollow tubes?
    The shapes are quite fascinating, I'd be thrilled to see icicles,
    but it's never gonna happen :D

    I'm new to this. Could you explain what 216 diffusion sheet is and how you use it when photographing the ice crystals?

    Really nice series............I am curious as to the weapons used for the assault on the small fields of ice :D.......
    Is 216 a Rosco number (white tough cine gel) or another companies number.
