We had a rather peculiar cloud coverage (considering we normally get none at all), and apparently criss-crossing contrails above the cloud layer just added to the picture.
Taken with Verizon Dare, scaled down 25%.

    I saw those today, Nikolai. I drove from Azusa to Oxnard, and drove the full length of the 118 starting at about 8:30. They were very interesting.

    Yes, the 118. I take it past Simi Valley to Los Angeles Street, and take that through Moorpark and Somis until I reach the 101. The next time they send me that way, I'll wave in your general direction as I pass the 23. :D
