Canon 100-300 USM or 75-300 USM III

Hi

Between this two lenses what do you thing is the better quallity.
I'm thinking buying one of this on ebay, but can't decide witch one.

The 100-300 looks like more robust the the 75-300, and have full time manual focus what i think the 75-300 don't.

I have never had a 100-300, but have had the 75-300. I would never keep that lens in my bag, I have tried the USM, non-USM, the IS, etc. The user review section on FredMiranda shows that folks seem to like the 100-300 quite a bit over the 75-300.

Do you have the funds for the 70-300 IS? That is a good lens if you need the 300mm range.

Yes, generaly, as far as i read in other forums, and reviews, it seem that the 100-300 have a higher status then the 75-300 USM or non-USM.
Also i have been using a 80-210 USM that is same kind of construction of the 100-300, and it feels more robust, more AF accurate, heavier then the 75-300 usm.

The IS version is to expensive, at least for now, for me.

I guess i'll try to get a 100-300 USM.

There are two things that caught my atention to the 100-300 over the 75-300, first the 'all time manual focus' and 'back focusing system'.
