I rescued him 13 years ago. He had been abandoned in the desert, west of Phoenix AZ.

    Cute pooch. Amazingly playful for his age. I've had 10 dogs over the years all rescued. I am convinced they make the best companions and payback your kindness many fold.

    He's gorgeous, I think they know you saved them,
    my kitty even though she was not abused loves living with me.
    For 10 years she lived with her owners, but she gave them up so quickly to move into my house........ I think they just know where they belong.

    They make getting up in the morning worth it don't they Azzaro thumb.gif

    Hi Jack.......I have had 9 dogs 3 were pure bread. They died from old age by the time they were 12 and were old at 9 ....... This guy is chasing rabbits every day and he's got to be 15.. He was 2 or 3 when he came to live with me.... THANKS FOR COMMENTING.......azzaro

    Howdy Azzaro,

    I agree with the others, there is a bond there that is stronger than a normal friendship.

    He's a good looking Hound, I'll bet he's a great companion.
