Geesh!! I just got home, fed the cat and now having a cup of coffee. Haven't even downloaded anything yet! Yes your the first, but everyone should take note. Soon there will be an onslaught of photos!

As for the rain, as Gus might say "is a bats eyes black?" (Yes, it rained.)

Oh....and there are strories..........................the bear.....the coyotes.... a camera falling to within mear inches of being smashed on the rocks, copious quantities of food being consumed.

You have to see to believe, when 10 t0 15 photographers all pile of of the vehicals and all run to the same spot and try to set up in a 2 foot square area. :D

I.m way to tired to keep typing..........KEEP YOUR EYES on this thread!

But it did rain (with some clearing at times...) Sat. was mostly good, Friday and Sunday (today) were rather wet and often miserable (but did that stop us??? Heck no!!!)

A big Kudos to Greaper for being first up...he got some really nice ones. I just got home abt. 10 minutes ago. Too tired to download, process or upload any of my photos (don't think I got too many good ones anyhoo...but it sure was a fun!)

Thanks Andy and Baldy. Was totally cool to meet so many of our group in the flesh~

    Cheers!

It was great to meet everyone and to spend time shooting in the valley
    with you all.

Here's a quick water fall shot to wet your whistles

    ...and waits....and waits...

I've never seen smugmug so slow, bogged down with all of us Yosemiters (?). I finished uploading my images 20 minutes ago, and they still don't show in the gallery...must be a boatload of images getting uploaded!

Sunday evenings are the busiest time at Smugmug--when the most uploads
    happen.

Depending on what gets uploaded, proceessing speeds do vary.

Here's a shot of the Wawona at night. In the summer, these verandahs are
the place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Impossible to get bad shot in Yosemite
It is beginning to look like the most photo friendly location. Great shots everyone. Maybe next year.
