A classic landmark along Rt66 in downtown Kingman, AZ

I would like to credit Aaron Newman for coming up with the idea for this shot. It's funny how you can drive past something every day without really seeing it. And yet somebody with a creative mind can see a shot there.

    Route 66 was the name of a TV series form the early 1960s. Let see I was 20.

    Nice shot with the streaks of light.

    It's nicer IMO. It's definitely cleaner without that truck on the left. I'd personally leave in a touch more on the right.

    Okay...with out looking it up...I think that one of the characters was "Buzz Murdock"...what was the name of the other guy?

    Ric, I agree! Or maybe a 57 Chevy. Mr. D's is a popular hang-out for classic car clubs, so it's just a matter of keeping an eye out for the right night-time scene at some point for a reshoot.

    Route 66 is also the route that Peter & Dennis were on in Easy Rider..... Lots of folks knew where to turn off/go around to escape similar fates.

    Hi Joel:

    I'm late to the party but had to give you a thumb.gif on a cool shot.

    I agree about a crop but I'd only lose a bit of the foreground and the truck on the left. Leave the beautiful, big star burst and curve of trail lights on the right.
