The Better Beamer is a flash accessory that helps light subjects farther
away. Most often used by wildlife shooters.
Amazing device it is.
A word of warning on its use. I spoke to a fellow today that has one.
He'd left the flash (or had been working with it) in the sun. The sun comes
through the BB lens and will act like a magnifying glass and focus sun rays
on the flash just like when you burned ants when you were a kid :doh
Just so you are aware, this will burn the plastic of the flash. I would assume
that heating the flash like that is also not good for it.
That said, be careful where you point your BB and put it away when you're
not using it.
