Just put up my today's daily photo and thought that this would make an interesting riddle for you. So here it is:

Any ideas what this is? Used no PS, just minor cropping, levels and little rotating.
Yeah, I'm in the picture, too. I guess that will almost give it away... :rofl

Have fun,
Sebastian

NO, of course not! The biggest I got here is a 100GB Seagate and it's working fine. Only one replacement so far (got it for sending in a defect 80GB). *knocking-on-wood*

The one on the picture is from the cursed HDD company, which gave away it's business. The small model is from 1999, so you're almost dead-on with your size guess. rolleyes1.gif

Man, you all had big drives back in this time! I remember having a 20gb drive in my desktop back then and here were talking about a smaller formfactor. Maxtor is also still in the drive business.

Smaller form factor leads me to beleive this is then a Laptop hard drive. IBM Was making Laptop HDD's back then and sold out to hitachi. I say its a IBM Laptop Hard drive. IBM Travel Star 8gb.

    It's a 10gb Travelstar.
Now it's your turn to come up with a photo riddle. :D
