So I couldn't make it to the Merrit Island shoot this year, but I did manage to meet up with Harry at the Viera Wetlands.

2. Must have gotten the idea from this guy.

3. Even the marsh wrens were out and about.

4. Green Heron looking for food,

5. Limpkin skulking around the reeds.

6. This was about all the camera time the Caracaras were going to give me.

7. This Anhinga family didn't seem to mind the cameras at all.

8. These guys/girls are difficult to photograph were ever you are!

9. Pair of Red-bellied Woodpeckers

10. Glossy Ibis which looks very much like a White-faced Ibis! :dunno

11. I think there is enough room for one more heron! :deal

And thanks to Harry for showing me around!

Spectacular series Glenn! It looks like you used flash in some of these for fill and you handled that very well. Caracaras can be quite skittish, but that is a beautiful almost head on flight shot. The limpkins are wonderful. I love the greenie and that first scaup image as well. thumb.gifbarb

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Wonderful set, Glenn.thumb.gif

I like the red-bellies and the family shots.clap.gif

I liked the Scaup very much, the Caracara is well done too. But my favorite is the Anhingha family!
VW is truly a bird photographers dream come true.
