O wow, 2 and 3 are sooo awesome. Are the clouds from a different image in #3? That field is just fantastic.

    You're a master!!! bowdown.gif

I can't believe how well you've done with them all. Would love to peek over your shoulder when you're working your magic. How long did you work on them each? Crazy!!! iloveyou.gif

I looooooooooooooove #3 iloveyou.giflustiloveyou.gif just watch out with the light. When you look at the poppies (right corner) it looks like the light is coming from the front / right side, but when you look at the model, looks like the light is coming from behind / left side deal.gif

    STUNNING! clap.gif

Whoohooo....thanks a ton Randy....you know.....I just picked up a Wacom 4x6 tablet and absolutely love it! A buddy has the 6x11 and tried it out...way too big. Felt like I had to draw with my entire arm. The 4x6 is perfect for me..so...had to get into some serious editing...Laughing.gif.

Thanks Richard. #5 contains 7 images. Each blended/mapped/masked/painted/adjusted. It took literally all day last Saturday to work it up. Too many layers to mention but the concept kept evolving as I went. Once I found the castle then went from there. The final blend of coloring, selective lighting included a great deal of dodge and burning.

Thanks Ed. Ya know....hehe....I do this for a living :D...not composites per se but certainly photography. Stretching out with post techniques provides so many more possibilities with images...this can be a great thing for paying clients.

Oh Angie...you're just toooo sweet. BTW...envision the light at 11:30 in the sky camera left just back enough to back light. You will see the shoulder lit and a bit of shadowing from her form on the poppies. The clouds were coming in over the sun slightly from camera right, hence the darker side of the field on the right :D:D:D

Each image took different lengths of time naturally. #5 was all day. #1 took about 40 minutes. #3 about an hour. I haven't been sleeping lately rolleyes1.gif

These are pretty neat! So why aren't you using one of these (like the child warrior or one of the other fresh ones) for the Book cover contest? This would be perfect! And waaay different from everyone else's entries.

    Go for it!
