I coulda had a 20D and some lenses... or a 300DIR and some lenses.. but nooooooo...

BEFORE: super heavy, bright silver stock audi rims with bald tires (taken last month sometime)

DSC02961-vi.jpg

AFTER!: The new hotness... lol... super light, forged wheels in light grey and new max performance summer tires. (car 'lowered' in photoshop to get rid of that '4x4' look)

Just curious... but did you go from a 17" rim to a 16" rim? Or are the first set of tires a 40 series and the second set a 50 series? Just curious becuase the tires look taller on the second pic.

Love the rims though! Very classy, and very sporty. (And not too "street racer")

heh... both sets of rims are 18". 18x7.5 OEM, 18x8 for the new ones. Both sets of tires are the same size (225/40/18) as well, just different brands. They probably look taller in the 2nd picture cause my old tires (first photo) were almost completely bald!

everyone else, thanks for the comments!

    Dani,

Those rims are "HOT". They improve your already beautiful car's looks by 100%, IMHO thumb.gifthumb.gif

Tough choice, but I guess you put your money into something that you use daily. Hey wait a minute headscratch.gif , you shoot daily too :lol

No sweat, when you get a Dslr, fine. Til then, you'll continue to get the most out of your 717 clap.gif
