Sounded like a great photo-op, so I blew off my responsibilities and went down to Columbus Park to see what I could get.

When I got there, Michael Graham, a local talk radio host, was manning an open microphone.

Anyone who wanted got 30 seconds with the bullhorn. People expressed a lot of angry, but the atmosphere was actually very easy going and friendly. Although Michael Graham has strong opinions, his background is as a comedian, and his fiery opinions come in a good natured package.

This was followed by "The Star Spangled Banner:"

And dumping the tea in the harbor (only temporarily, note the lines to pull back the crates.)

Nice shots. We had a Tea Party here as well, it was chaotic. It was a peaceful protest, with very few people dressed in "costume". We didn't really have a local media celebs or anyone with bullhorns, but I was only there the first hour or so.

#2 is by far the strongest for me...I really like the b/w conversion on this.

If #3 were mine I'd have a very tough time staying away from PS'ing the flag so you could read it fully.....another strong shot.
Well, I guess you would call me... genus, humanus... Alice.

Yes, but you know exactly what that flag says and what it looks like. Why do you need to see it? That isn't a challenge, just a for real question.

When I read your title I was already worried you would post photos of the non-existing teaparty "shag". I have like 3 tourists daily that ask me about it ..... headscratch.gifne_nau.gif You can probably also see me somewhere in the background walking my pupp ... haha, it's right on my daily route :ginger rolleyes1.gif

Very nice photos, love how the b&w came out! clap.gif

I agree...that's why I said I'd have a tough time staying away from doing that....it's a strong shot as it stands... (I dunno if it's the ADHD-but I'd end up going back and doing it anyways!!!)wings.gif
