A Day on the Beach ...

I had *so* many shootings the last couple of days it's crazy. And I have no idea on which ones I should work first. :rofl :dunno

These were done last Friday. I had a family session on the beach. Very casual. They are actually my neighbors, and I just ADORE their little girl (aka firecracker) :lust :D She's the cutest little thing! I know, the post processing is a bit "special" ... on the red & yellow side, but I just wanted to try something new again, they will receive the "normal versions" as well :D

Hope I captured their fun, loving side! This family is SO much fun (mom used to be a model - of course!)

2: Turns out giving lollipops to little kiddos on the beach is NOT a good idea :rofl (yup, the whites are a bit blown here ...)

That's just a small selection of the huge set. I'll need work on some other photos first, but thought I would share :D C&C welcome as always.

awesome. hey can explain how you take photos like 8 and 9? shutter, aperture..fill flash? I love those kinds of "flare" shots but don't really know how to take themheadscratch.gif

Thanks Quarik. Honestly there is no big magic to them. I shot pretty much all shots with 2.8 / ISO 200-400 and did the rest in photoshop. She was running around the whole time, and I would have not been fast enough to change my settings much, so I just took them as they happened and did the rest in post production. The lens flare in #8 was added later on, thought it would kind of fit with the style mwink.gif
