I had the pleasure of taking Scott and Sarah's Engagement photos on May 2. We hit the canal, (I was on the look out for Lynn :D but didn't see ya), then we went to my favorite place right now, the IMA. This time we went passed the musuem to the gardens and wow!! After that we went to where they will be getting married. That is a beautiful place as well.

The bench had the beginning of this poem and since we couldn't actually see the words in the picture...I wanted to incorporate it somehow

I love love number 8, hope you don't mind but I am so going to steal that pose.
Love the composition, love the b&w version, love the pose and emotion in the shot.
    Great shot!!

    Great shot!!

Thanks! I loved that too. For the conversion, I converted it black and white and used a textured overlay on it as well. The texture was sort of sepia looking on one side and plain b&W on the other.

Love some of the poses... good job.

My only comments would be the flat lighting in 3,9,10 & 12 (you just about get away with it in 11). Did you use any reflectors/scrims?? Did you use on camera flash??

I think on 3 it's a combination of a couple of actions that I used. We were at the edge of the shade area.

It was just me and my reflector was useless. I don't have any scrims but I did see another photog in the area using a big one...and decided that I need to get one of those. I used my external flash.
