    Foggy Morning
I shot this this morning. I'm still very early in learning, so please advise if this meets this particular assignment. Thank-you!!

The light source was reluctant to appear, but we caught it briefly.

Welcome to Dgrin and to the Class! clap.gif
You've forgotten the "/" in the closing IMG tag...deal.gif
Thank you for the entry, it's a nice image, but I don't think it suits the assignment well enough. The light source should be more powerful, blinding if you will...

I've been wanting to try one of the assignments, & I think I found a shot yesterday that fits this one.

    Welcome! clap.gif
It fits the theme alright, but it doesn't count. ne_nau.gif
No such thing as "found a shot" in this Class, unless specifically requested as such. Go out and shoot. Fresh pictures only. deal.gif
    Sorry! rolleyes1.gif

I guess I just failed communication 101. What I meant by "found" was I found the opportunity while I was out shooting other stuff. My bad.

    Thanks for trying! thumb.gif
No, not really... The light source is too dim to get the effect we're going for. We're kinda talking about "into the *blinding* light" :-)

    Hi Nicolai again,

Sorry for the delay. I couldn't upload my photos because of a poor connection .

While it's a very lovely shot, it does miss an important element: light source must be an important part of the frame...ne_nau.gif

    Same Shot Recropped

I had cropped some of the sun out of the frame and have now recropped to include it again. I used levels but tried to avoid any PP that would negate the highlights. Does this help? If not, I'll keep this one on the back burner until I get something else that I like. Thanks.

BTW, this was one of those shots where the clouds suddenly shifted and I got more (strong) sun than expected.

I shot some other photos "into the light" earlier this evening, but nothing that I liked well enough to enter.
