Post your phone shots!

Hi Guys,

I'm curious to know if any of you have for some reason left your camera behind, seen a shot that makes you kick yourself for leaving it behind :cry , but tried to capture it on your phone anyway?

Sometimes the results are still quite pleasant! Post your phone landscapes here :wink

I'll start with this one I got a few weeks ago while fishing, captured by my 2MP iphone camera. Lets see yours :)

rolleyes1.gif I love the idea of this thread! Because heck yeah!! I always do this. And even if I am on a photo-centered workshop in the middle of nowhere, sometimes I like to have a shot on my phone anyway so I can always keep it close to me. lol3.gif

    Nice shot capulina!

And I agree Schmoo - even if you do have your camera it is nice to use your phone to get the shot too, so you can take it with you thumb.gif
Did you post a pic? I'm seeing 3 little thumbnail things in your post which aren't showing for mene_nau.gif

great shots! i have tried a few times using my phone but they always come out blurry. not sure if they all do but my cameraphone has a fixed shutter speed and it is too slow for me to hold.

Great thread. I use mine camera phone all the time to send pictures of "as built" conditions to the engineer or architect when the conditions don't match what they have planned. It's also great for sending a quick snapshot to someone.

    1. Taken a couple weeks back when searching for new views of Mt Rainier, straight out of camera

    2. I saw this one walking out of my shop, when the sun was hitting this sheet metal just right. Cropped

My son was using my camera last summer as we were chasing evening rainbows in Sedona, AZ. As we climbed a hill along the road to the airport to get a better view, I spotted a small dead tree and used it to frame the rainbow. Only thing I had to shoot with was my first generation iPhone:

Looks like a romantic kiss between a young doe and a young buck. But she's actually telling the buck to go away (she was eating a fallen apple and he came up to see if she'd share). Seconds later, the doe repeatedly kicked the buck because he apparently didn't listen when she told him to shove off. After receiving a few kicks, the buck backed off, but not far enough to please the doe. She ended up chasing him out of sight as I wished I would've been videoing instead of taking just a single still shot. rolleyes1.gif

While working in my garage one recent evening, I looked up from what I was doing and spotted this sunset. Only camera I could get to was my iPhone 4G:
