    Hey, congratulations on the superb image, could you share with us what equipment and settings you used? I.E Shutter speed, film ect.

    Max im a complete idiot & dont worry about that type of stuff...thats what the little screen on the back is for.

    Humungus,

    Glad I was able to help.

    That is one great picture (or should that be two great pictures? ne_nau.gif) you've got there. The color correction adds a nice touch.

    The hardest part of stitching the images together was the fact that the waves moved between the two exposures! I had to hack that together, but otherwise it wasn't too bad. By the way, did you know that there is a Photo Merge utility built into Photoshop CS??? That's the tool I wound up using here.

    If I'm ever in the neighborhood I'll take you up on that beer!

    Thanks cletus...i looked them up but didnt believe the figures. How is it so fast in such low light ? I thought it would have been at least a second ne_nau.gif

    panavue
    I've done a number of large scale image stitching projects and have used panavue with great results. I also encountered the wave problem. Panavue gives manual override in the form of manual stitching points.

    My most challenging stitching project is here.

    good link rutt....even found a pic a few hundred yards from my joint.

    My old boat that we lived on in this spot for a couple of years is on the far right.
