This is a really awesome lens. But I am buying the 28-70 soon because I need a little more wide so unfortunately this rare and recently underrated lens has to go. Check out all the reviews online, its an amazing low light zoom, one of Nikon's high-end pro zooms for a long time.
It is in perfect cosmetic condition and takes AWESOME pictures. Very sharp.
It comes with the nikon rear cap, a pinch front cap, and nikon hood.
Asking for $380 shipped and paypalled. This is a really great lens.

    Im sorry.
I needed to raise the price a little after realizing how much they are going for, how much I love this lens, and how much I need for a 28-70.
I apologize to people who were showing interest. This was my fault.
    I have added sample images.

out of pure ignorance...why are you giving up the 35-70 and buying a 28-70??? Just for the few extra mm???? Am I missing something? They both are 2.8.

I shoot concerts, and every mm counts, expecially since Im shooting DX.
It will get me a little closer to not having to pack my bag with lenses!
The 35-70 is an awesome lens though, so If the 28-70 doesnt work Ill probably go back. But I really need the money right now.

    upped price
As a very new chum, I didn't have a problem with the price going up - I was under no obligation to take the lens - I made the decision on the new asking price. Mistakes happen - even on the go, and on the internet. So long as we are open and transparent about our mistakes - with grace.
