I would have to say that 3 is the strongest of the lot. The irrigation wheels could use even more pumping up. Or even crop it so the pipe runs diagonal might work better composition wise.
Glad you have come out to play. Good Luck on it.

Definitely # 3... that is a great shot..

or #1 - I really like where you are going with #1, however, I think a re-shoot is in order... I think for the title snake in the grass, we need more snake,, more length and depth.. If I were you I would go out and shoot that subject from all different angles and depths,,, it looks fun to work with and I think it has the ability to be a strong entry if captured right... try getting down lower to the ground too in some of them and give us an angle we would normally not see if we were standing there...mwink.gif

    Nice work..thumb.gif

15524779-Ti.gif need more length and depth to pull off the title. And I agree with DsrtVW - more contrast.

Excellent creativity.....never would have envisioned that had I driven by that field!

Thanks, Kat! I really appreciate the feedback.thumb.gif

So you prefer #7 over my original #3 that several people liked?

Yep, #7 or #5.. love them both.. 5 has depth and 7 has the sharpness and perspective.. to me the bike wheel was the best out of the old lot... however, now it seems plain compared to your new shots.. plus there is the fact that is has a ton of white washout on it.. and there is more white than metal, and the metal is what makes it such a great black and white conversion.. in my opinion of course..:D

What most people do, myself included.. is.... > you run your thread like you did and narrow it down... and now that you have.. take the top contenders and start a brand new thread, and list those contenders only.. and take a final vote with the top ones you have reworked and perfected...

I like #7 the best. I also like #10 but 7 is more dramatic. Cute dog, too!

I like the bike gears best and then the u-pick after that. There's a lot going on with the gear shot so you really get the sense of 'plural'.

#7 is what I had refered to in the begining. I like #3 the bike gears in the first set because it was stronger in tone. The composition on 7 is much better, I think it cold be pumped up a bit more.

But remember the final decisions are yours.

I personally like #5 and #10, but more the bike gear if cropped from the top almost to the gear
and a little from the left.
