Dug through some old pics and picked out some I thought were a tad different. Enjoy.

I like the use of blur in the first one.
And I like the way you set up the 3rd one too, the line of flags leading up to the girl (waiting to do the HJ?) I dont know if getting the mat in there would of made the photo easier to understand or cluttered it up more.....

I wish I had more time to shoot track and field....the couple of times I did it was more of a mad dash to get the basic media guide photos....so I didnt have time to shoot the more exciting and artsy type photos that I get to do when I shoot a sport more often (and the basic media relations needs are met)

    Nate,

I agree with Karen. Love what you did with the 1st and 3rd shots.thumb.gifthumb.gif Good T&F shots are so hard to get. Usually, due to having no control over the background. You did a really nice job on all of these clap.gif

First and third do it for me. The first because the motion blur adds to the
preception of speed. The third, I'm not sure. But I like it. Maybe it's the
    contemplation?

I agree, I like the first and third also. The third one kind of has that feeling of anticipation and concentration.
