Well June was a busy month...but not all with weddings. I managed to shoot 2 and a birthday party and engagement sitting and various other things. Here are the weddings.

This Bride was a lot of fun.

I grew up within a mile of BOTH of these venues, but this one holds a very special place in my heart. I watched the Ollie North hearings from the bar, bought Nerds, and played Bump & Jump and "Kiss" Pinball in the rotunda room...ah the memories.

I've often considered how boring and "cheesy" it would be to be the house or "preferred" photographer for a location, but I can without a doubt say that these 2 and 2 other Bay locations I could work every weekend.

C&C always welcome and appreciated.

Explain the cake? Well it was a hibiscus fondant type thing. I lit it with a gridded AB 800. Thanks all for the comments. I have a crazy one this weekend. 4-11:30 tomorrow on the eastern shore (my job) then adventures in second photographery from 11 to 11:15 (with a 1.5 hour break).

Very nice, I especially like #4. What lens did you use for #10?

Yeah 1-9 is Celebrations, the rest are Kurtz's, I grew up in (and my dad still lives in) Kurtz's Beach.

Ok, I'm glad it wasn't just me. I think the colour aids and abets.... rolleyes1.gif

Blur, they're all your usual gorgeous work but I particularly marvel at how you can take an exposure nightmare like #8 and make it look like a perfectly balanced, "easy" shot. That, my friend, is technique serving art. Bravo!

Hey there Jason! Great stuff as usual. I swear you get better with each set you post. there are certainly some portfolio quality images in this set. In fact MOST of these are IMO "money".

Only nits I have are: in #4 I think the image would be better if you cropped out the psycho axe-murdere bridesmaid... maybe you were going for a dark/happy contrast thing but I think the bride and 2 ladies is a stronger image. The cake topper shot I don't really care for because the topper has so little contrast that it doesn't pop from the blurred background. Fill the frame with that sucker and catch b&g in the background and that is money for sure. Then that cake shot... Just not enough in the image to make it discernable IMO.

These are nits though and nothing more. Taking those three out I don't know if I can pick a fave. Maybe the window shot, or the bride looking over the flowers, the dip shot on the bridge is perfect... These are REALLY good my friend. I am impressed.
