The Psychedelic Furs - Pretty in Pink

The Bee Gees - How Deep is your Love (She LOVES pink lol)

OR George Spartels - "Where did you get that hat?"
Where did you get that hat
Where did you get that tile
Isn't it a nobby one
And just the proper style
I should like to have one
Just the same as that
Wherever I go they'd shout "Hello"
Where did you get that hat

    Thank you Linda.
I made it for a friend but got my baby girl to model it for me so I could take some pictures. Wow! She makes a great model lol.
Trouble is she loves pink so much, she wanted to keep it!

Hard choice between the two. Very nice photos and great exposure.

I love "both" shots and both titles that you chose. :D

I have to say the second one with the "hat title" holds my interest longer, it pulls me into the composition and holds me there making me contemplate the hat, and it tells more of a story rather than being just a super portrait shot, which it is by the way, awesome work and wow on that hat, nice work..thumb.gif and what arolleyes1.gifCutey Pie..rolleyes1.gif

Edit: Just saw you had already entered your shot.. It looks great.. However, I noticed for some reason it is not filling the frame up to the edges like the other entries. I wonder why? It looks smaller than the others. You don't have a black frame on it do you by chance? I dunno, maybe the gallery is wigging out again. It did that on the last round to a few entries for a short time. Just thought I would bring it to your attention.

    No I haven't added a frame Kat.
Maybe it looks smaller because I re-sized it to 750 on the longest side?

Hmm.. that may be it due to your re-size. I am not sure... Perhaps someone else on here knows?headscratch.gif

I guess the second shot could be ... "Day Dreamer" by David Cassidy
I do love the light in this one.

Hmm. if ya decide to go with this one, I would stick with the where did you get that hat. Daydreamer is ok, but I think people are accustomed to the classic image of a person gazing out a window into the clouds etc.. Just my thoughts..

    Both are great images..thumb.gif

They are both really, really good. I don't think you can go wrong with either, so I'd say go with your favorite. Pretty in Pink works perfectly!

Had to laugh.. "Mummy Goggles"rolleyes1.gifroflrolleyes1.gifSo true when we are looking at our children's photos.. You have 2 photos here that are both well shot and very pretty. Both work for the theme and both carry good titles.

I agree with Karin, go with your favorite..thumb.gif

If you still can't decide then look at it from a judge's point of view.

I have often heard the judges say in the end they had to dwindle it down, and in order to do that, they nit picked on the technical stuff.

    Best of Luck thumb.gif

lol thank you everyone. I think I will stick with Pretty in Pink.

I'll tell you what though...I wish I had shot THIS this month!

    "The Eye of the Tiger"

    3717220593_e89a01676f_o.jpg

My older daughter's came to visit us in May.
One of them does face painting, so, my Son asked her to bring her face paints with her.
She painted their faces every day, twice, sometimes three times a day, while she was here lol.

This was an un-intentional shot of my Son in the mirror. The reflection was intentional but the un-intentional part was when he had an itch because the paint was drying.
I only realised the eye of the tiger when I was editing the pictures lol.

Oh wow.. that is neato.... Sounds like your sister stays busy when she is at your house..:D Your right, this is a creative take on that song for sure... Perhaps she is willing to paint some more for ya? Seems there are all kinds of possibilities with the face painting and kids or even adult models too. Probably a lot of songs you could work with.. One I thought of right away was tears of a clown.

    She does a great job..:D
