Great photo! You must have a nice underwater case for your camera. The pic almost makes me want to hold my breath!

All I can say is I really wish I could see your shots. Every time you post something, people just gush about the quality. Regrettably, the "Great Firewall of China" doesn't like your domain. But rest assured, my expectations have been set extremely high once I do have the chance to take a peek. mwink.gif

    Tom-

I am so glad you are posting on dgrin again. I am such a fan of your work. It is artistic, abstract, and at the same time tells a story and invokes emotion. A very difficult thing to achieve and you do it consistently. bowdown.gif

    Thanks for the comments :))

Red nose? Good question, I suspect it may have something to do with the water temp., or perhaps fair skin and a day in the sun, or both. I was tempted to "fix" it but didn't because it is close to the reality of the day. I was underwater off and on, only as absolutely required because at 52 degrees on a 90 plus degree day, and no dry suit, this stream will take your breath away!

Michswiss, sorry you can't see this but you might try ... tomhyde.viewbook.com and look under portfolio I, it's the cover shot.

BTW, I'm a huge fan of Narelle Autio, and her husband Magnum photographer Trent Parke as well. Both have done amazing underwater work, each in their own way.

Thanks for the reply! Wasn't Red Nose Day, then! (Do you have that in USA - to raise money for SIDS?)

Yep, that works. Thanks. Last wish is to be able to dwell on a shot. There doesn't seem to be a way to halt the slideshow progression.

There is a control bar at the bottom, just mouse over, with a pause slideshow button.
