Not sure if i did the right thing i had it on aperture -Priority and had the EV up fully to the - so i could turn the shutter speed up, the first one i have just lightened a bit second is straight from the camera

I dunno Gary, I've seen a few of your macro shots and you have nothing to worry about mwink.gif Targets like this are tough work and take time to get used to. Never easy thats for sure. They move fast Gary, so often flash is needed. I know allot don't like flashed shots, but when it comes to speed and stopping that action for sharp shots, sometimes its the only option. Unless the sun is hitting the spot.

All the best Gary, well done on a moving target.

    Danny.

Keep up the good work bees are very very hard to shoot they move to much and are pretty fast!!!!!!!!!!thumb.gif
It's not the speed that'll kill ya
    It's the sudden stops!

This isn't very good, yours are way better. but I saw all these bees outside so i tried to get in close. my digital is an old nikon coolpix so it is a little hard to get real close.

What do you think of it? should i crop it down?ne_nau.gif

J: Nice job Gary. Way to nail the focus on that bee in flight!

H: I like the fact that you got right down in amongst them.
