Fort Myers/Sanibel/Everglades in November

I've found quiet a few threads for wildlife shooters in and around SW Florida - but I'm not much of a wildlife shooter.

Are there any good spots for landscape shots? I'll be there over Thanksgiving week.

Thanks,
Brian

I would recommend picking up a cheap copy from the Watchable Wildlife Series on Florida. There are many sites nearby including places to see Manatee.

The sunrise from Sanibel looking at Ft. Myers is great.

The sunset from Captiva island is great also. There is a protected wildlife park on Sanibel called Ding Darling or something like that. You can drive your car through there, or walk, or drive a bit then park and walk around a bit...
The Everglades is a great place for photos also.

Lovers Key State Park is one of the loveliest state parks in all of Florida. A great place to shoot.

It's across the bridge from the southern end of Fort Myers Beach.

You can't go wrong for an $8 entry fee.

There is a nice beach and lighthouse on Sanabell Island

Thanks for all the suggestions. Looks like we'll be staying about a half mile from the Sanibel island bridge, so Lovers Key and Sanibel will be good sunrise/sunset options.

What about specific locations in the everglades? Anyone know there way around the good spots?

    Thanks,
    Brian
