really neat shot and love the perspective, makes me feel like I am just getting ready to step on.
I was wondering, has being able to shoot in the Subways slacked up abit? I have heard/read that a lot of folks seemed to get hassled, even arrested for shooting the train/trams?
Jack,
very interesting!
reminds me for some reason of old Andy's NY series with everything bw and only yellow selected... Might work in this case too, what do you think?

Thanks Craig. As to the photographing of the subways, DUH I never thought of that! Fortunately the station was pretty deserted

This is a very contemplative photo. It's obviously well done technically....good composition, etc....but it also elicits from the viewer a range of conscious thoughts: like where are the people, what time of day could it be. Very good, Jack.
Take care,
Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I thought those questions too. Last time I road the subway (which was long ago) it was packed with people except during the late night hours. So I'm thinking Jack must of been up late

Hi Nik
Thanks for stopping by. I'll give the SC a try (but I may have to also do a blue version as that's my favorite color )

Excellent exposure- nice bright colors- leading lines of the subway- yellow line- and pillars. Love the feeling of the open door.
Very nice shot Jack!

There's lots to like about this image. Strong lines & I love the WA distortion. It really works well with this image
Thanks for looking Jeff.
