missing header

I just brought up my website and my header/banner is missing. How do I get it back? Thx msabatini.com

    Check your customization. I just found the same problem with my site, and when I went to Control Panel>Advanced Site-Wide Customization, the first part of the CSS includes the banner info, ending with the following line, which shows the banner image I use.
    background: url(http://moose135.smugmug.com/photos/241361234-L.jpg)
    

    I found it had a ".gif" after the ".jpg" at the end of the URL. When I removed the ".gif" and saved it, I got my banner back.

    Although my problem wasn't the gif issue you steered me in the right direction. Mine was a double jpg at the end of the url:

    #my_banner {
    width: 750px;
    height: 150px;
    margin: 15px auto 0; /* top right/left bottom */
    background: url(http://mjsaba.smugmug.com/photos/415891564_RNKqt-X3.jpg-O.jpg)
    no-repeat;

    I deleted the .jpg after X3 and all is well. Thanks again.
