Took a half day trip up north from Los Angeles Friday to escape the heat. Old Town Ventura is a seaside city in Ventura County with a nice pier. Lots of old buildings with trendy shops and even a Spanish Mission from the 1700 IIRC to boot.

Very nice shots! I'm in TO. Really need to get out to Ventura more with the camera.

Wonderful work!! I was just talking to another dgrin member about the mission and how tough it is to photograph.

You did a fantastic job capturing it as well as the rest of Ventura!!

Good photos - I really like Mary and the last one with the pier. You have the lighting down perfectly.

Thanks folks. For the last shot, we waited for the twilight. The pier would vibrate a touch if people walked by so I was a touch concerned.

There was also some meteor or something that streaked across the sky and I was lucky enough to catch it in the right of the frame. That streak is the meteor or whatever it was.
