Sigma 500 series flashes for EOS E-TTL camera

Sigma makes two different flashes which will fit a Canon EOS camera, although one has much better integration.

I have read the different specs for the two models, but I'm still stuggling with how much actual benefit there is to one over the other.

In other words, in actual use, is the Sigma EF500 Super DG worth the extra money ($90 or so) compared to the Sigma EF500 ST-DG.

Anyone have experience with these flashes?

Thanks,

THe super has more power, and it will also do E-TTL II on the 20D. It is a much more robust flash. It is also the one I use. clap.gifclapclap.gifclapclap.gif and I give it five jumping claps. It's a great flash.
