I have known this family since my little one was 1 yr old...so for almost 4 years. lol

I've photographed the little girls before, some may remember them, but I've never photographed the whole family. I started off a little concerned at the beginning because of the position of the lake and the position of the setting sun. It all worked out and I got some very good images. The mom loved the pictures and said they made her cry....which is always a good sign. ;)

I had a lot of fun with texture in these too.

Some of these look as if they were copied from old Ektachrome 35mm slides. Is this the case or did you add the noise intentionally?

I think the ISo was at 200. I believe the noise may be a result of the textures that I used. There was also a lot of dust in the air.

    1. Too washed out for my taste, but I love the composition.
    3. Much nicer lighting.
    4. Lovely portrait
    5. Love the way the sun is hitting them!
    6. Sweet, sweet, sweet! thumb.gif
    7. Ditto! thumb.gif
    8. Nice shot, but the blade of grass is a problem.
    9. Sweet shot, but the haze isn't working for me.

The little one's expression in #9 is timeless, very nice job. I liked them all.
