Imagine my surprise when I saw a dinosaur walking around in my neighborhood.

It turned out to be a prank performed by a local TV program dedicated to filming practical jokes in the street. The dinosaur hid behind some large bushes, invisible to people approaching on the sidewalk.

The film crew communicated by walkie-talkie with the guy in the dinosaur suit and told him when it was time to attack.

Between takes, the dino camped it up with people in the plaza.

Hope you enjoyed these. I sure had fun shooting the scene.

What a fun set to look at. I had to scroll down to see what the unwitting victims would do when it popped out.

I love the last one with all the bystanders being entertained while the woman in the bottom corner was jogging for her life...

    Thanks for sharing.

I wonder how the chap on the suit was able to see out? Great costume, although the operator's legs could have been better camouflaged with those of the dummy.

I wonder if the folk making the film were sued for damages (for heart-attacks), or sent dry-cleaning/laundry bills… eek7.gif

    Great sequence! thumb.gif

Very nicely done series, Richard! And I particularly like the fact that you stuck with it and worked it.clap.gifclap.gif That last image perfectly caps the series.

Thanks a lot, AtlPikMan, rainbow, Wil and BD. As far as I know, nobody had a heart attack that day. mwink.gif
