My wife is great at bridal and formal hair. Today she was working a wedding and I went along to take a few photographs.

Here she is at work on the bride:

and here is the final result. It's a shame that the best parts are covered by the vail:

David - I just came across this post. Wow, 61 views and not a single comment; that may be a record - one we should not be proud of.

Did you shoot both of these? The bridal portrait is very nice.

Thanks Angelo, I was surprised to see this back in the "new posts".

Yes, I did take both the pictures, I obviously paid a bit more attention to the bridal one.

Here are a couple more from the same day, first the official photographer in action with his 20D. He's a very nice guy, we had a blast comparing kit and swapping stories while the women were doing their stuff.

Here's my version of the shot he was framing at the time:

Then another of the lovely bride:

that's a nice "action" shot, just a pity about the cameraman in the BG.
    I love the concentration.

Thanks Adrian. I agree with you, it would have been better without the video dude.

Having said that, in one small room were: my wife (stylist), several bridesmaids, the photographer, my daughter (assistant to stylist and general dogsbody), mother of bride, makeup lady, bride, video guy and me.

As you might imagine, I just wanted to get my shot and get the heck out of there :D

Cool little softbox on the video light, I thought.
